Industrial Institute of Agricultural Engineering (PIMR) from Poznań Poland executed in June, August and September 2009 the examination of technological lines BIOMASSER® MULTI (MIDI i MAXI) and BIOMASSER® MOBILE. Results of the examination are available below.

  1. Report BIOMASSER® MULTI

    Industrial Institute of Agricultural Engineering (PIMR) from Poznań Poland executed in September 2009 the functional examination of technological line for biomass briquetting BIOMASSER® MAXI-MULTI type MXM4 with four presses BIOMASSER® DUO type BS207 and TOMASSER® shredder type RB505E18.

    The functional examination was conducted during normal using of the line. According to the methodics - energy consumption, mass of produced briquettes and picture of the working day were controlled. On this basis productivity of the lines was evaluated. The moisture content of the straw used for production, and also moisture content and life of the briquettes were determined in the PIMR's laboratory. Moreover an influence of examined lines on environment was controlled: noise level and dust emission on the working stands were measured.

    Here are the results of the examination of BIOMASSER® MULTI type MXM4:

    • effective productivity of the line was 397 kg/h briquettes
    • BIOMASSER® DUO type BS207:
      • the lowest effective productivity was 95 kg/hour briquettes
      • the highest effective productivity was 103 kg/hour briquettes.
    • average active power consumed by the whole line during effective work was 32,04kW
    • 0,081 kWh were consumed per 1 kg of produced briquettes in effective time of working
    • briquettes life factor 0,88% - 0,92%.

    The material subject to briquetting was grey rye straw harvested this year (2009).

    Examined basic parameters of the briquettes produced by the technological lines type BIOMASSER® are consistent with the latest European Union and international standards.

    Noise level and dust emission measured on the working stands of technological lines type BIOMASSER® do not exceed the permissible values and are consistent with the latest European Union and international standards (ISO) in the scope of safety and environmental protection and harmonized standards.

    The functional examination was conducted during normal using of the line. According to the methodics - energy consumption, mass of produced briquettes and picture of the working day were controlled. On this basis productivity of the lines was evaluated. The moisture content of the straw used for production, and also moisture content and life of the briquettes were determined in the PIMR's laboratory.
    Moreover an influence of examined lines on environment was controlled: noise level and dust emission on the working stands were measured.

    Here are the results of the examination of BIOMASSER® MOBILE type BM2MDM3:

    • effective productivity of the line was 717 kg/h briquettes for power plants
    • BIOMASSER® DUO type BS207:
      • the lowest effective productivity was 111 kg/hour briquettes.
      • the highest effective productivity was 129 kg/hour briquettes.
    • average active power consumed by the whole line during effective work was 57,88kW
    • 0,082 kWh were consumed per 1 kg of produced briquettes in effective time of working
    • briquettes life factor 0,84% - 0,86%.

    The material subject to briquetting was grey rye straw harvested this year (2009).
